Rebecca Hunton, MD, MBA

Rebecca Hunton, M.D. earned her undergraduate degree in finance and accounting from the University of Florida and completed her medical training at The Ohio State University. She is not only an Integrative Physician, but also a successful business entrepreneur. Early in her career she worked in Washington, D.C. and Wall Street as a CPA and a financial analyst. After completing her medical training, she has created several businesses and developed frameworks for financial success in the business of medicine. A practicing physician, Dr. Hunton is the founder of RHMD, LLC, an integrative medical practice. In addition, she has created The Cure for the Common Medical Practice, LLC and is the co-founder of the International Institute for Integrative Psychiatry, LLC. Most recently, she has joined My Joyful Practice, LLC which delivers an educational curriculum that empowers clinicians of all types to take their practices to a whole new level of success.

She is board certified in Family Medicine. Additional Fellowship training and Board Certifications include American Board of Integrative Health and Medicine (AIHM formerly ABIHM), American Board of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine (ABAARM), American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM), American Board of Hospice and Palliative Medicine (ABHPM) and more.

Dr. Hunton brings other unique credentials. Since 2014, she has been appointed to the faculty of George Washington University and more recently will be working with the University of Miami as a CME featured speaker. She is a preferred provider of GotProHealth, an organization sponsored by the NFL Football Association and the NBA Legends and has additional expertise on nutritional support for competitive athletes. Dr. Hunton has been a featured speaker in many venues both to professional audiences and the general public. Finally, as a member of the selective TEDActive 2013 and TEDMED 2016 communities, Dr. Hunton is an advocate for changing healthcare and wellness worldwide.

Shilpa Saxena, MD

Shilpa P. Saxena, MD is a Board-Certified Family Practice physician whose passion and purpose come to life through her experiences with education and patient empowerment to attain extraordinary life outcomes for her patients and community. In addition to over 15 years of progressive patient care in her successful functional medicine practice, Dr. Saxena is a Fellow & Guest Faculty of the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine, Faculty with the Institute for Functional Medicine, and Volunteer Assistant Professor of Family Medicine and Community Health at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine. She is an expert in the Group Visit medical model and enjoys bringing unique solutions to audiences in her classic ‘keep it simple’ style. With an excitement of being a part of the movement positioned to cure the worldwide chronic disease epidemic, she speaks internationally to encourage and inspire both physicians and patients to regain the power to activate a transformation towards wellbeing.

Mark Tager, MD

Mark Tager, MD is (CEO) of San Diego based ChangeWell Inc., an organization that helps healthcare practitioners grow their businesses. A veteran of more than 800 presentations, Mark shares his skills and passion to empower those who attend his trainings.

He has served as Director of Health Promotion for Kaiser Permanente Oregon, the founding marketing VP for the Fraxel laser, Director of Business Development for Mosby Consumer Health, and CMO for Syneron.

Mark has authored nine books related to health and performance including Enhance Your Presence: The Path to Personal Power, Professional Influence & Business Results (with Robert John Hughes), Total Engagement: The Healthcare Practitioner’s Guide to Heal Yourself, Your Patients and Your Practice (With Mimi Guarneri, MD). He serves as course director for A4M/MMI’s Practice Enhancement Training, and authored the online curriculum. Dr. Tager attended Duke University Medical School and trained in family practice at The Oregon Health & Science University.
